Description   "Transformation Mandala" by Vikki Reed This mandala was inspired by a mother who lost her son. Because he kept sending her feathers to console her, there are white feather with soft white light around them surrounding the center. There are Phoenix birds for resurrected life and love, as well as connected hearts.  Within the diamond shapes are eyes with pathways in them.  ("I see my path in your eyes")  Also featured are eyes with no path, as grief can temporarily obscure direction. More hearts included with an "M" inside, signifying a mother's love, which is infinite and defies the limits of perceived separation. The outer edge of this mandala is ringed with butterflies (a symbol of tranformation) with feet on them as this mother dedicates her life to healing soles (yes I mean soles). Grief can only result when it was preceded by deep love.  Transforming grief is a challenging journey.  The most courageous of souls inspire us with their grace-full victories.
