Description   "Flow Mandala" by Vikki Reed July 2, 2006, "Flow Mandala" begins with the Om symbol, somewhat abstracted.  Then - nothing. Guidance returns July 20, 2006, along with a question, "How much do I allow "Flow"?"  Lines for the piece begin in the center, move out through the painting and return to the center.  I am reminded of the circulatory system in teh body, the blood (or chi) flows out from and returns to the heart. I wondered why no symbols were coming to illustrate "Flow" as had presented in the preceding mandalas.  It was clear this mandala was to be quite different. "Flow" cannot be forced, but is a force, in and of itself.  Resisting "Flow" produces struggle.  I experience the feeling of being "In" the flow and "Out".  I realize that "Flow is constant whether I choose to participate or not. August 14, 2006, can I find my way back to "Flow"? Day's of discouragement follow.  Again the question, "How successfully do I allow "Flow"?"  Painting progresses, six striking spirals appear suspended in the sky circles, symbolizing the eternal nature of the quest for realignmant with Spirit or Source. The background color develops, warm caramel to deep, rich chocolate.  Delicious and satisfying... living in "Flow" is sweet.  August 22, 2006, "Flow Mandala" comes to completion.  This mandala serves as a reminder to remain in "Flow" and relax into the inevitable joy!
